Introducing........MY NEW LITTLE BROTHER!!! (The exciting post)

I have been posting things saying that there is an EXCITING POST COMING UP..... so here it is! First off, thank you to all who have already been reading my blog. But our adoption journey has just began! We have recently committed to a very special little boy on Reece's Rainbow.  That precious little boy, is Gavin. Gavin in Eastern Europe, Gavin, the one I have been posting about, Gavin who's in the same orphanage as Taiya and Benji. We couldn't decide, so we prayed and prayed... and we really felt like Gavin was meant to be in OUR family. We are OVER JOYED, especially me :) We had to get some paper work done before we could officially commit to Gavin. First, we went and got some papers notarized. It was just me and my mom, and man was I excited! As I was standing in that house, watching a friend of ours sign and stamp the paper, that was when it really hit me, we are doing this. We are going through with it, we are taking a leap of faith. Then after that, we had to send out all that paper work, etc. We don't know what is in store for us, Gavin is going to turn 6 years old in February, which means he could be transferred at any tie now, but we believe that if God called us to adopt Gavin, then he will keep him safe for us until we could hold him in or arms. We hope the process goes very fast, but it will most likely take at least 6 months. We have been emailing Andrea and driving her CRAZY, asking for photos, information about this whole process we are about to go trough, etc. So with all of the photos, we are seeing how cuter and cuter he is. WE CAN NOT WAIT to finally have him in our arms. Gavin is described as healthy, and he was born with down syndrome. We have recently heard some news saying that he is quite delayed, but s sure to blossom once at home with a loving family. We are prepared for this precious little one, and this great journey. We will be doing fundraisers, and anything it takes to get to my little brother =) Also, Julia   is raising money and advocating for her Angel Tree Child, Gavin. Please visit her blog and donate to her iPad giveaway. It ends the 19th, and we would very much appreciate any money that is donated to that fund. Also, if you would like to read my mom's blog, she will be blogging about the adoption too. Now to see what excites us most, go HERE.

MY new little brother

Almost 6 years old, and a teeny tiny bundle of love he is.

Can't wait to scoop him up in my arms and see him smile and feel safe for the VERY FIRST TIME.
 Thank You,
Genesis
