We're So Cool, We Swim in the Rain.

It all began this morning, when my mom suggested we go to the pool. She was like "Hey you guys wanna try to make it to the pool? We'd have to hurry." It had been raining the past week, like all. day. long. So we were only planning on getting an hour, if even. Anyway, we finally packed everything (or so we thought) and were on our way to the Country Club. We unloaded and opened the trunk to realize nobody had brought any floaties. The one day we're in a major hurry, we forget the floaties, which enable Levi and Zane to swim. So at this point, we're wondering if we should run back home (we only live like 10 minutes from the Country Club), or just stick it out in the shallow end. But Zane insists that we go get them. So we load BACK up, and turn around to pick up the floaties. We are literally driving home, looking up at the gray clouds, and saying "nooo!" like we were going to melt. My mom runs inside, grabs the floaties and we head back to the pool. And then what happens? It starts sprinkling while we are driving back. I remember thinking "just turn around!" But we stuck it out and kept driving. We ended up having about an hour in the pool, before the rain came down. We weren't in too much of a hurry, because we were only afraid of the lightning. But we started packing up because we had the stroller, and clothes, you know, stuff we would prefer to keep dry. As the boys were getting out of the pool, it began POURING. So at this point, we're under the little covered area. And NOW we're in a hurry. And you the usual happens, you know, it seems when you are trying your best to move fast there is always somebody in the group that is doing the opposite. Zane is talking like crazy, going on with questions and moving like a turtle.

But eventually, we made it home.
